anyone pick up on the little feud going on between hjj and wpro regarding the article? Janiaious alluded to the fact that Buddy made his radio chops at WPRO which is absolutely not true. he definitly made his mark at whjj. in fact i had forgotten he even worked at Pro for several weeks(not months or years) until St Pierre mentioned it in response to HJJ Bruce Newburys comments on Friday night about the misinformation in the paper.
anyone who thinks putting Buddy on the air will not be a ratings winner should consider that thinking as tothe reason why you are not or no longer working in talk radio. sure it may be morally questionable but thats not going to stop people from listening-quite the contrary. those guys are going to kill each other to get him. and no one hates each other more the Dipetro and York so thats not going to play into it. funny thing is, i wouldn't be surprised if Buddy doesn't accept an offer from either. that 5 years was a pretty tramatic experience for the ole boy, and getting back into the spotlight may not be on his agenda. perhaps there are more important things in life for him now.
