Markets without a fullpower PBS Station

Beaumont, TX & Victoria, TX don't either... Assuming both pull KUHT/8 from Houston.

Any irony to the fact that the 4 states with markets without Full Power PBS stations are among the 5 largest states? Florida is the only top 5 state with all markets covered...

No local PBS currently in Tyler/Longview.

Also in North Texas, no full power PBS in Wichita Falls/Lawton (KERA has or used to have a translator there) or in Sherman/Ada (although Oklahoma's state network is available via translator in much of the market).

KERA serves the Texas side of both markets on cable (with Wichita Falls served by a local KERA translator), with OETA serving the Oklahoma side by cable and translators.

KERA originally planned on installing a translator serving Tyler, but it later fell through. Tyler / Longview get PBS from KERA, while the Lufkin part of the market get theirs from KUHT.

Both get KUHT on cable. The station also holds construction permits to build translators in both cities, though it's unknown if both are in service yet.

Though Fort Myers was the last Florida market to get a PBS outlet, with WSFP (now WGCU). For Panama City, they do have a PBS station, WFSG, but in this instance, it's actually a satellite of another PBS station, WFSU in Tallahassee.

honestly any of these 1 or 2 station markets would qualify

Mankato, MN qualifies. 1 station market (CBS Main/Fox subchannel)

Charter carries KTCA from Minneapolis and KSMQ from Austin/Albert Lea on cable

Laredo doesn't have a PBS affiliate. They don't have an ABC affiliate either.

Laredo used to have ABC on KLDO/27, which is now a Univision station. Laredo now gets
ABC via cable from KSAT in San Antonio. As for PBS, they usually rely on cable carriage of
SA's KLRN.
