I'm not familiar with other markets outside of Nashville, ..I'm sure there are personalities on the air in larger markets...but the local market is trying to "save" itself into profits...not the way it's done..as for VT...I don't think the average listener knows the "voice" is coming from 500 miles away...the audience has been dumbed down for a long time now...my opinion...and worth twice what you paid for it..lol
I agree...most of what is out on the internet right now is as crappy as the stuff we are finding on the dial without the production value...but what if a product was well produced? Do you think it would find an audience? How large of an audience would an individual need to make a sustainable stream of revenue? I think this is a concept still in its infancy and bound to be better or at least offer more well produced options as time goes by.
