How did KYLD do in the demos that you mentioned?

Generally speaking, Research Director only reports the top seven or eight stations in each demo, and only goes deeper if there are ties around #7 and #8.

With that said, WiLD is likely to be somewhere below #10.

I'd still rather see demo breakouts than make faulty guesses based on 6+ numbers.
The best example of that was during the first two decades of all sports WFAN in New York City. It never seemed to be above 15th in 12+ Arbitron ratings... but it was the highest billing station in the market. All men, all 25-54. Few teens and women, and much less 55+ than other mostly male formats like AOR back then.

It would be interesting to see how KYLD did in every demo. From teens, 18-34, 18-49, 25-54, and 55+

And Nielsen would be pleased to sell you that data for a few hundred thousand a year!

Seriously, Henry, the reason Nielsen gives away a "taste" of the numbers is the publicity they get for their name and service. What the give for free is useless data that nobody can use for sales. Some of the data you mention is very valuable, and that is why it is confidential and the users sign non-disclosure agreements limiting the use to things like sales presentations and internal programming and strategy meetings.
