Me-TV FM? Online anywhere?

What part of Chicago are you in?

I live about 40 miles northwest of Downtown. MeTV FM is hiss free on only one of my rados....a Sangean ATS-505. And that requires some fiddling with the fully extended whip antenna. But there's no interference from other signals on any of my radios. Until three years ago, I drove a vehicle that was hiss-free all around town on 87.7. I traded that in for a new Chevrolet Equinox with a good stock radio, but tuning MeTV-FM is problematic, due to the signal being slightly off frequency.

That all adds up to me not being able to listen very much. But I do know that MeTV FM has a following out here. It's on in some of the businesses that I frequent, and I have friends who listen regularly.

The "Fonz" character was predominately a 50's character. Does FONZ-FM specialize in 50's RnR?

The Fonz represented the 50's, but the show did not run then... it ran from '74 to '84 and so the character simply represents "retro" to many.

Sorry, it was back to MeTV-FM when I left work last night (Glendale Heights). I did not get the legal ID when it happened. One thing I will note, is that here in Glendale Heights, the signal wasn't bad, it did seem to get progressively worse as I went west. Worse than it usually is, being an LP signal. So by the time I was out by my homestead, it was very bad.

Picture I did take once in the garage, like I said, I missed the legal, but you can clearly see it's tuned to 87.7

I have not driven my Suburban in a couple days, so I can't say about that one. It's nice out, so i'm getting my last few opportunities to drive my nice cars while I can.

From the descriptions here it seems like it appeared for a long time for it to be tropo, but is there another 87.7 somewhere that carries Air-1? Maybe the one in San Jose, CA?

That is pretty far... But a couple summers back, my Technics receiver in the garage, with simple rabbit ears, had 104.3 The ticket (or whatever they are now), from Miami, walking over 104.3 Khits. They were talking about Miami Heat basketball.
