Based on the age of the shows I'm seeing, it looks like their target is the 50+ demo, which seems a bit odd as this is not usually an age that advertisers want. I'm 35 and I'm disappointed that there is not a single show on Me that I'm interested in. I wish they would add some 80's classics.

^Interesting, I'm younger than you and the only program from MeTV I watch regularly is "Get Smart"", which I have liked since the days it was presented by Nick at Nite.

I'll tune in to watch Star Trek on Saturday Nights (It's also on indie KCDO 3 that afternoon though I'm sure the two broadcasts are different episodes)

Which 80's classics could go there? They do have 'Cheers'.

Some other shows like 'Golden Girls' are overexposed on cable.

I've seen Me and it atleast on the affiliate that I get it from, the commercials are normal. With Antenna, it's mostly infomercial commercials as well which can be annoying. (If you buy now, we'll double it, and include this free gift!!).

Unfortunately in Philly, Me is from WFMZ in Allentown. One pretty much needs an outdoor antenna to receive Me-TV in the Philly region. It's not carried on Comcast or FIos.

WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio is dropping RTV and will begin airing Me-TV on January 16th.

"Three's A Crowd" airs on Antenna because it was sold alongside the show it was spun off from, "Three's Company." Kind of like how the "Saved By The Bell" syndication package featured the failed prime-time "College Years" series.

For the time being, I think ME-TV has found their niche. Off the top of my head I can't think of any 80's series that haven't been overexposed on cable. I don't need to see anymore Cosby, it's all the dial now, and they already run Cheers. Running Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke etc. works. These shows have had much air time lately. Nick@Nite/TV Land ran them about 10 years ago. Although I am not a big fan of That Girl (like Marlo Thomas though), at least it's something different and not burned out from exposures on other channels. I haven't seen The Untouchables anywhere in many years, so that works for me.

The only shows I can think of from the 80's I'd like to on ME see are Hill Street Blues, St Elsewhere, and WKRP in Cincinatti -with it's music rights back.

I love Metv's Saturday night schedule. Hogans Heroes, Batman, Lost in Space, (Lost in Space is so bad it is actually good) and Star Trek.

Otherwise I like most of Me-TV's Schedule. I just hope that WBBJ in Jackson, TN will eventually put it on its own subchannel instead of just using it for filler on their CBS subchannel.  :-\

Yes, Newhart (the inn keeper) would be a good choice to air in conjunction with Bob Newhart (the shrink).

I think they should give the Dick Van Dyke show a rest for a while and replace it with something in color. I guess they are trying to satisfy the Mary Tyler Moore fans. Here in Cleveland, we get another airing of Dick Van Dyke at 10:00 pm since one of the local stations has the rights to Cheers (which they air once a week in the middle of the night).

Also, I vaguely remember some shows from the late 50's/early 60's which were all similar: 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye and Surfside 6. It would be cool to see them in a 3 hour block on the weekend.

WFGX-TV (licensed to Fort Walton Beach, Florida) threats programming from ThisTV the same way. I wish they would put all ThisTV network programming on one sub-channel and simulcast some programs from ThisTV occasionally with the main channel, which usually has syndicated programs, MyNetworkTV programs, local programs, and Jewelry Television programming.

It's still junk. When local tv stations 15 years ago had "Three's Company", they aired just "Three's Company" and on much rarer occasion "The Ropers". Antenna could re-arrange their schedule (as they do anyways) rather than have the prime-time hour programmed to junk or just not air those episodes.

WFMZ's Me-TV has local commercials and national advertising. Maybe Tribune, that owns WPHL, being much larger just doesn't want to do the same.

Newhart currently airs on Family Net, which is carried by Verizon Fios. Family Net also airs the Bob Newhart Show at 9pm (the same time as Me TV).

I agree with all those. I would add any of these: Benson, Charles In Charge, Empty Nest, Gimme a Break, Growing Pains, Diff'rent Strokes, Kate & Allie, the Love Boat, Night Court, Perfect Strangers, Silver Spoons, Hogan Family, Webster, Magnum PI.

These shows have rarely been played at all in syndication in the past 10 years or more.

I, personally, enjoy seeing the older shows, especially those in black and white. Most of the shows were on when I was a little girl (I'm 55 years old now), and I was too young to see them.
