KQUE, KJOJ-FM/AM, & KTJM were properties of Clear Channel before The media titan's diversion. Hence the name, Cheap Channel. So, Apparently that's what made them cheap. After the diversion, CC reatained 8 stations according to the FCC's regulations.

The company was formed in 1987 to purchase in November of that year KWIZ AM & FM in Santa Ana, which they began running in mid-1988. They don't have any property in Arizona, by the way.

Who are we talking about??? Clear Channel or Liberman. Who is cheap, what is your defintion of cheap?
