Melissa Forman and her crew were let go from WLIT, AGAIN! The market manager stated to a Chicago Tribune reporter that, "this isn't about Melissa. She did everything we asked her to do."

One minute people kvetch about "off the bird" programming - but then WANT a creep, doofus like Lujack backk on. He is a has-been. He won't ever come back here.
Hit parade radio is a satellite delivered format for 50+ age (boomers). Enjoy it while it lasts. Google it and hear a sample w/Loser and Wink Martindale.
Radio in the "3rd largest market" needs to cut costs just like everywhere else.
Prais said:In my view, he is a urned out old fart with the same sarcastic bs over and over. He should retire and give someone else a chance. "Hit Parade" sounded very dull. Little excitement in the on-line demo.
I agree that this station has not been a "light" music station for quite some time. Once CC took over theyERP50kW said:This is not your parent's WLIT from 10-20 years ago!
It's not even "light" music IMO. The AC format has too much overlap.
This frequency has been known for "light" music for a long time. Perhaps a tweaking to go back to "true light music"? Would they even consider doing anything new or different given what the frequency has been known for over a long period of time?
(Please keep Eddie and JoBo off the Chicago air waves. They need to grow up and find something else to do... time to stop playing like teenagers...)
