Meridian sale

Returing WJDQ-FM to its rightful place at 101.3-FM is the only move for success.

Along with a legendary station I think it should try a classic hits format to reatract listeners who the station attracted in its legendary years.
 
Everyone is worried about what they are going to do with the stations, are they bringing Q101 back, they ought to do this with this station, etc. oh and Urban is finally out of the market they don't know what they are doing. Well what about the employees that are put in this type of position whether it be here or somewhere else. The stress of not knowing whether you have a job or not. What about posting hey, I'm sorry your having to go through this if there is anything we can help you with, or hey I know of an opening at W...... Radio used to be one big happy family and we helped one another. Now all anyone wants to do is gossip.

To the Meridian Radio bunch, I wish you all the best on your future endeavors and keep the faith because you will pull through.
 
I briefly worked for URBan... Having been on the inside and hearing what the stations sound like now, I can attest that they have no idea what they're doing.

What employees? There are a few, yes, but most of the stuff you hear on the air is either on the bird or voice tracked.
 
Any changes yet on the stations sold. How bout V93.5 or WKZB.
 
I haven't heard any changes yet but I'll listen again tomorrow. I'm not sure that the deal has been approved by the FCC yet.
