Has anyone heard any news on where and when Roula, Ryan, and Eric (from the Mix morning show -- until they were booted for Sam Malone -- but I won't get started on my dislike for him...)may show up? What is everyone's opinions? I know they were under non-competes, but it seems that this time should be up by now. Any rumors floating around?

I would not expect them to turn up on any station in Houston in the future. Are they even in the city yet? Maybe a station in Tyler or The Valley, no scratch The Valley they have pretty decent radio. What station is desperate for an also ran show, maybe all night on Rock 103.7 KIOL?

No I found out a long time ago that this board is for the technical side of radio, the boring stuff, you won't get many favorable answers here on personalities unless your wanting to know the call letters of some station a billion years ago or what was the last song a station played before it signed off the air for good. You know the important stuff.

Whining about your favorite station changing its format or your favorite jock getting fired isn't going to bring them back.
For those of us in the business, we've seen it happen or had it happen to us so many times that we just shrug our shoulders and move on. Life isn't fair, and neither is radio. You just find another board to plug in your headphones and hope you say the right call letters when you key the mic.

LOL. Ain't it the truth. In 1974, I dragged my old Nova Pro headphones and went from KIOX to KIKR to KIKN to KIKK in 1975. I had only been in radio a short time which tested my ability to keep it straight.....hmmmmm...the call letters, that is. In 1975, not only was I on KIKK, but also, KTLW and KNUZ. Now, that was difficult, but somehow, I pulled it off. I never got them mixed up....or down.

When someone new comes on this site to ask a question and gets bombarded with rude comments that is uncalled for, they don't know you don't care about their questions, just answer them nicely if you want to, or don't say anyting at all if you don't. Now there is a simple solution to your rudeness Johndavis, after all noone really cares about you or your comments either, at least I don't, I am not in radio. That is another reason I don't comment on this board much anymore, but I will if I see the need.

You radio people?!? I'm not in radio, I just have a love for it. What I don't have a love for is reading the same tired thread over and over and over. Roula and Ryan are gone, I'm sorry. Sam Malone is a bigger name. Cut and dry. He ran Ryan Chase off of 104, and stuck it to him one more time at 96.5.

Don't tell anybody...but I am secretly in negotiations with Cumulus Media to hire them for the new morning show on KRBE once Atom and Maria are released. An offer of .50 a day has been laid on the table, and I am still giving it deep consideration as to whether or not I should accept it.
