Probst has a gold mine as on-air personality and executive co-producer of CBS' Survivor which, by all reason, should go for another five or six seasons. I really doubt he'd be interested in the Live! gig.

Last time I saw Regis on a show, he was looking and acting 84, which is his age.

This is Kelly's show now. It has to be someone closer to her age and lifestyle.

They would be smart to get someone who could take the show over when Kelly leaves.
 
Regis would never come back. I don't think he really liked Kelly's attitude and personality that much.

Also, Jeff already had his own talk show...which tanked after only one season.
