was never a good radio guy and thus is out of radio... please stop trying to get back in with these posts. Please leave it to the smart people like me, jim reith, tom mitchell, rich lauber, and the fat kid who does mornings at Krock. Thank you.

To be ripped on the 'Cuse board. Like being part of la familia and reciting the Omerta. When do I get my gun?</font>

Missed Opportunity

Mike, you missed a golden opportunity. Since the original post read,

Mike Radknowski - Ed_Levine

you had the perfect opportunity to reply:

Ed_Levine - Mike Radknowski

Oh, well. You probably wouldn't have missed the chance if you were among the smart people like (whatzisname), jim reith, tom mitchell, rich lauber, and the fat kid who does mornings at Krock.

Re: Missed Opportunity

I'm not gonna lie... I hate radio and its the worst thing to try and have someone sell to you. I much rather deal with TV or god even print for that matter if it came to it. You radio guys don't get it. Have fun with your door to door salesman routines and having to fight advertisers to think your product not only works but its actually worth 1/2 of what you charge (ie. CC dropping rates on B and SYR like its on fire). Just saying, have fun people!!!

Then why do you care to comment?

Because reading you idiots talk smack with each other about useless properties and the "rock wars" is funnier than anything on prime time tv. Seriously someone should make a reality with all you media minds just trying to outsmart each other. Pettiboner you could be the next Johnny Fairplay... or Richard Hatch if that suits you better. C'mon you gotta read what you guys say to each other, you act like your trading stocks on the market and your lives are at stake with each spin of a record. Keep up the good work boys and girls!!!!

Re: Missed Opportunity

Wait a minute! The guy who was Ed_Levine is now the guy who's NOT Ed_ Levine..Am I reading this right, they each have the same number of posts? Yet another screen name?

Ed, or Not Ed, that is the question

Yet another personality. Yet another psychotic episode. Yet another example of how little he knows about radio, business, advertising, and life in general.

People "in the biz" do have a tendency to take themselves more seriously than is warranted, but that's because so much money has been added to the mix. The pressure on sales people, air talent, engineering, and support people has ratched upward every time stations are resold for more money to a bigger buyer. Each buyer has to make more to pay off the debt service, and institutes more "efficiencies" to try and maintain the profit margins they promised to investors.

Radio can be an effective way to reach customers if it's done well, and is particularly effective in combination with print or television ads.

But, reality is not necessarily a part of "Ed/Not Ed's" world. And, radio is not always done well, especially in smaller markets or at stations run on a shoestring as a "spoiler" aimed at the competition.

I'm not sure where "Ed/Not Ed" works, but it sure must suck to get up and look in the mirror every day. I'm guessing he doesn't work in the sales department, huh?

Re: Talk About Buying Your Own Hype

Hey Scotty boy shouldn't you be wearing some fake NY Rangers Jersey with your name on it downtown??!?!?! LOL probably the corniest $hit I've ever seen!! What a great bar night, you even let people smoke in the bar and from the looks of the place you had like 20 people... thank god there was a SU game or else it would've a room full of no talents and 3 bartenders (all of whom would do better morning shows than the one your station does).

GO KROCK!!! losers lol

You should've stayed ... the place got packed after the game. And you missed the Mime abuse, fun stuff. And hey! I look like a big lovable smurf in that shirt. Almost like a young version of papa smurf who really let himself go. Keep rollin out the insults because you're not even close to phasin me, besides, you're getting killed on this board and you're showing that you care way to much. On a side note, I would like to say thanks to the 95X employees who rolled out to play games with us. It was probably the best time they've had for awhile. The 3 people from 95X, that came to me at Tailgators looking for jobs ... please send your resume's to this address:

235 Walton St.
Syracuse, NY. 13202

thanks. It was nice speaking to you.

first off, scotty boy who gives a crap about 95x and some promotion techs who are overqualified to take your job asking you about it. Man you can't even have one post without resorting back to your penis envy of 95x. Seriously man get over it... I mean if you want to hurt 95X so bad I think its a great idea to try and lure those talented promotion techs from Citadel, they have more charisma I'm sure than your on-air team. You've resorted to making up things to better your arugement (not the first time)... We all know that noone comes up to you, not a 95x employee and certainly NOT a female, don't b.s. us we've seen what you look like, we know the score. Love the outfits though, seriously great look!!! sucker
