Listened to Planet Mikey tonight while running some errands. Granted, it's a Friday night and it was before the late start of the Sox game, but :

- every caller he had was drunk
- almost half the callers were dumped

I can't say it wasn't entertaining (one guy claimed his half-brother had died at 79 without seeing a Sox championship and that he himself was 125 years old), but you wonder who is screening those calls when half are dumped out.

When you're pleading for calls, and pleading for anyone anywhere to pay attention to what you're doing, you can't really afford to 'screen' too many calls. He's the radio equivalent of a Wal-Mart door greeter.

you think that was bad, you should have heard his show after the game... especially when he was describing what all the drunken yahoos on Lansdowne Street were doing. And, of course, the callers were even more hammered than earlier. I just hope none of 'em were behind the wheel.
