Mix 107.7 Improving!

Mix should go country and give K-99 some competition.  They have a strong enough signal to do so.  Lite should migrate to more Hot AC.  I wouldn't make Lite country beacuse it is too close to K-99 and that would screw with diaries.
You know, I was thinking the same thing!  However, I bet Cox and K-99.1 and their vast resources would crush them like a fortune cookie.  ;D
I do believe that 'MMX needs rebranded and/or blown up. Where's Randy James when you need him?

Radio dude...I'll give you that...but didn't that station record consistent double digit ratings 25-54 in the past? And remember...it's just a trend. All stations catch "fools gold" on occassion. The March book will be the telling story for the quarter.

Wow, an 8.2 in the Trend 25-54? For Mix? My guess is that will drop with the onslaught that is Click 101.5. My thought is that folks that defected to Click from Mix were basically eating what they were being fed because they had no other alternative and were tuning in out of habit. Now they do. Click is an excellent station and will take some of 'MMX's listeners...how many will be the question.

My guess is that it will hurt X more
than MIX. Also I am noticing that
Fly is playing much more 70's and early
80's to stay away from Click which
will hurt Fly. Stay tuned, their first Arbitron
number will be in the latter part of May
which represents the first month of the
Spring book.

You may be right...I bet this move could hurt 'XEG. I've heard them play the imaging that says "We play more music per hour than The X" quite a bit. They also have one that replaces The X with Mix, but that one only plays once in a while.
I wonder if a format shift for Fly towards Classic Hits will take place with the introduction of Click? Stay tuned.

It's the same sweeper... one says Channel, Mix, and The X.

I forgot about the Channel one. I heard that quite a bit last week when the station launched, but I haven't heard it lately. Thanks for remembering that one ljo!
