You know, I was thinking the same thing! However, I bet Cox and K-99.1 and their vast resources would crush them like a fortune cookie. ;Dengineer_dude said:Mix should go country and give K-99 some competition. They have a strong enough signal to do so. Lite should migrate to more Hot AC. I wouldn't make Lite country beacuse it is too close to K-99 and that would screw with diaries.
You may be right...I bet this move could hurt 'XEG. I've heard them play the imaging that says "We play more music per hour than The X" quite a bit. They also have one that replaces The X with Mix, but that one only plays once in a while.Radio Dude said:My guess is that it will hurt X more
than MIX. Also I am noticing that
Fly is playing much more 70's and early
80's to stay away from Click which
will hurt Fly. Stay tuned, their first Arbitron
number will be in the latter part of May
which represents the first month of the
Spring book.

I wonder if a format shift for Fly towards Classic Hits will take place with the introduction of Click? Stay tuned.
I forgot about the Channel one. I heard that quite a bit last week when the station launched, but I haven't heard it lately. Thanks for remembering that one ljo!lovejamminoldies said:alans613 said:You may be right...I bet this move could hurt 'XEG. It's the same sweeper... one says Channel, Mix, and The X.
