More changes to come...

Anyone remember what Centro paid for the translator?
I mean they can say the primary is KOHV-LP (no com) but in the few minutes i heard 2-3 regular radio spots one of them was a commercial for a DR or A clinic.
Clínica de Vida, but is that considered a commercial?

I seem to recall that Dabang was on an FM HD subchannel at some point, but I might be mixing it up with another South Asian broadcaster.
98.7 translator is on 107.5 HD3. I’ve never seen Dabang on HD since I got a radio in 2020.

Also I don’t think KOHV has been on the air either. I’ve driven right by that tower a few times (but it seems like the La Nueva LPFM towers are located elsewhere)

I know everyone is probably partying right now, I am driving on my way home from work. So I started scrolling down the radio and noticed that. La Nueva is also broadcasting on 94.1 FM again.

Well, the changes have been made. Interesting that neither ihope 94.1 and 99.5 decided to renew the LMA agreements. So now Latino sits with multiple translators that were making them a buck load of easy money every month. I would expect them to make the effort to create other formats until someone comes along willing to pay top money to lease them out. Someone mentioned 106.5 hd 2 and i can confirm that before the December time off I checked with some top management at the Televisa Univison building who confirmed that They have leased out Multiple Hd's and will be making changes to 106.5 Hd's soon.
Expect 106.5 to also make some changes to help keep 102.9 on top while 92.1 finds its place in Houston. Good times in spanish radio in Houston (yes i know David e doesn't like it to be called Spanish radio) if you had money to burn what would you put on 94.1? What would you put on 104.5? Wonder if the i Hope format was not working for the UNIVERSAL CHURCH or they might be soon getting into the Houston Tv game since they own tv stations in LA and other markets. I heard they were having a hard time getting a HD and were told they could have some problems with the FCC. Who knows. 101.7 has been dj free for the last 2 weeks (holiday vacations)
Happy new year to all!

99.5 IS NOW LA NUEVA
After over 9 years radio dabang decided not to renew the lease agreement.
I'm guessing they will try to just go digital and will realize the sponsors won't stick around for that.
At a noontime check today La Nueva is gone from 99.5. Hearing South Asian programming.

Kinda figured but didn’t want to just say any assumption. But I’m guessing it was something due to payments.
Probably payments. To me personally, I can't see voluntarily giving up on FM in 2025. The market is not quite ready for 100% digital. An FM signal is still necessary if you want to make real money.

So the 3 changes were 99.5 becoming Romance? New morning show on KILT? And D&R leaving the eagle?
