More Clearchannel cuts?

Are you sure Daune got the axe? She is on Mix right now and her page on WMVX.com is still up with a blog entry dated yesterday.

Probably voice tracked ahead before she knew they were gonna screw her again which brings to mind a
question: If Glaser requests it, can he have CC stations using his voice to have it taken off of them?

He's being paid, most likely, on a retainer basis. Those stations can continue to use him even though he's no longer with CC. It's freelance work. Not tied to a his salary. Now if he were tracking, that would be different. I remember when Cousin Deke was let go from WMMS... he was tracking quite a few stations including WVBZ/"100.3 The Buzzard" in Greensboro NC ( I was with CC Raleigh-Durham at the time). He was no longer able to track for that station or any other CC stations.

Yes, he did. Daune Robinson and Dawn Fulmer, a promotions asst., too.

They're dumping everything at Mix (minus, maybe, Brian and Joe) in order to sell it off...

So..... who's left at Oak Tree doing prod/imaging? TR was let go last year. Glaser this year. I know Miles Hilvco (WMMS) & Bob Coates (WTAM) are there... but who else?

AH! I forgot about "Mac Daddy" Bill Connors. Great guy, and talented too.

I know his hands are tied with WMJI...so I don't feel bad saying --- what horrible imaging! Can't polish a turd.. meaning the VO! Who is that guy??! Like nails on a chalkboard. Can't stand his voice/reads. Just don't fit the format.


Without a doubt CC Cleveland has/had the best producers.

TR & Glaser are gone. TR...wow! I learned A LOT from him. He launched the "MIX" imaging via CC Dayton circa 1997-98. Then MIX/Cleveland. Set the standard with three voice imaging. Then took WMJI to bigger heights when transferred there.

Coates, Connors and Miles are incredible too. Far superior to others in the market.

Regarding commercial production, TR is a great VO talent as well.

Jeremy Bruce is doing commercial prod for TAM, MVX, Majic. Jesse Shultz (took over for me) is doing MMS (damn, did it again...) 100.7, Kiss, and (I think) GAR.

CC Cleveland has had some good prod...TR, Deke, Doc, Mitch, Jay Bohannon, AJ Allen, Jonathan Tea...VODood, jessejames44...lol

I hear Jonathan all the time on Jared Jewelers' spots, as well as Bayer tv. And, if you have the BIO Channel, Jonathan is all over that thing. Cool to hear him and say "I worked with that guy". And then I get pissed and say "my career sucks!" LOL! ;D
