Just curious al_atl.....what type radio do you listen to?
And which AM station(s) has/have better fidelity?
Are you aware that ClearChannel has directed all CC AM stations to limit bandwith? Do you own an AM radio which allows you to hear any difference?
WGST sounds great on all my crummy radios.......but my radios, like 99.99% of all AM radios....cuts frequency response off at around 3 kilohertz(just like your telephone!!)

Why the hell would CC direct stations to limit bandwidth?!?! That makes no sense at all. Oh, wait, we're talking CC here.

I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stock radio. Another vehicle, a vintage VW Beetle, has an old Radio Shack radio. In the house I have a very old GE Super Radio in the bathroom and a little Sony radio in the kitchen. I hear a quality difference between WGST & other stations on all my radios except a little Magnavox clock radio by the bed. Every station sounds like crap on the clock radio, even the FMs. The radio that sounds best on AM is the one WGST sounds the worst on, the one in the Jeep. The best sounding Atlanta AM station, at least of any I have listened to lately, is WGKA. WDUN up in Gainesville sounds pretty good and I listen to them now when I want to hear Rush. My ears can only take about 10 minutes of WGST's audio before I just have to change the station...even if it's a program I want to hear. Way to go, CC. Further limiting bandwidth on AM...that is just about the stupidest thing I've heard from these morons, and they've done lots of stupid stuff IMHO.
