Friend --- radio2100 is just having a little fun. OC can take it. He knows he's loved. BUT where the heck is he?
I think he's managed to be removed from radio --- board...not radio airwaves. I dunno. It's sad. At least I miss him.

Is he posting on that "other" board? (the one that gets deleted for being mentioned here...I guess i need to get a little more "insight" into why that is, lol)

How does it feel to get your butt kicked by WKLU in Indy? A little class A toilet from out of town beats you r big signal with a major advertising and marketing campaign in every daypart. In Indy, Jack's off. On the Indiana boards you're a big shot . I guess you don't tell your "Jack" buddies that you guys lose badly in Indy to a small rimshot.
 
that steppwnwolf dude or whatever is a laughingstock from what i read & hear. fires blanks everytime and can't even hit air with those

In case everybody wanted to know, I'll have to stand up for Oldiescat, whose been busy on a serious project
--- he knows radio, has been in it for years and you can disagree with him all you want, but he's usually
pretty much straight forward right on --- maybe he doesn't do the obligatory dumb-down be nice rhetoric
to well --- but he's been in the trenches. Sure, sometimes he is wrong:

1.) When he disagrees with me
2.) His choice in liking a certain Dee-troit basketball team
3.) His choice in liking a certain Dee-troit hockey team

But, he's told me he will be back VERY VERY soon --- so maybe we'll all try to send him off the deep end
upon his return with double anti-Jack talk!!! Steppenwolf can lead the march. I know he'll love that little
welcome back prank?????
 
I knew OldiesCat has been busy with something.

I emailed him weeks ago. I'll have to send him another to see what he is up to.

Can't wait so we get another person who actually knows radio.

Cat is straight forward with the facts. He looks at reality.

Some people (Steppenwolf?) just live with their head in the sand.

You remind me of OldiesCat in that it's clear that you haven't worked in radio. You must have a relative who works in radio. The Indy area station you mention, WKLU, has had its best days and is headed back down to the bottom where it was before it was sold a year or two ago. The Jack station is accompanying it downward. Try again.

UGGH!!! You ruined KRXX Mix 101.1 in Kodiak, AK!!! Damn you Jack!!! I HATE these stations!!! STOP RUINING MY HOT AC STATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! AND I HATE RADIO WITH NO FREQUENCY ANNOUNCEMENTS OR JOCKS!!!!!!!!!

WKLU's share (12+) didn't change in the last book. Other stations just moved up and pushed it out of the top 5.

there is no JACK in denver-yes the signal from the JACK in ft collins spills into the denver market but it's a rimshot signal at best and a bad measuring stick for the format performance
