More MNF on ABC

Look, you've seen the backstory in all of this. She got the opportunity to onto that non-sports show to give dissenting viewpoints (from the show's perspective) in order to do something different than her 'day job' of being a sports reporter.

She did that, and it eventually distilled into her making the career decision she's making now. She's been on the sideline for three weeks, most likely, consulting with family and friends on what her options are. I didn't look (nor do I care) about how her contract was structured. Was the end of this football season her last on her current contract? Did either party have the opportunity to exercise an additional period of time?

Perhaps, she's just sick and tired of hanging around a freezing cold sideline in December and January. 🌨️❄️

She obviously will get an opportunity to do a few more years worth, thru one (or more) of the venues that I stated above. Recall that Amazon is wanting to be a bigger player in this sandbox called NFL broadcasting. Does she potentially join Al Michaels over there next season?
Wait, Al Michaels is leaving too?
I agree that Tafoya might've already wanted to leave and this just pushed her over that line. Those cold December nights!

NBC is not renewing his contract.

NBC's goal was to have Tirico in the main seat next season. And maybe Drew Brees by his side soon after.
I don't like Tirico. I think it's just that he's not Tom Hammond. At least Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey are still there.
