Exactly. There's nothing to tune in for. The only feature they list on the station website is "Pranks on the 20s." It's not enough. Very disappointing.

The Morning Mess was HUGE in Indianapolis... From what I understand, Star 94 isn't allowing them to push the envelope as much as they did in Indy. Give them time to adjust. You really will be laughing out loud. Trust me... Flushing peeps down a toilet does not do them justice.

I really hope that the Morning Mess brings the Bert Show a challenge. From the Youtube videos I watched I can't wait to hear them, I kept hearing sweepers this morning but honestly will leave it on Star till I hear something

I suggest we give them a little time. They're probably still finding their way to the restrooms.

It's possible Star wants to start them in a non-offensive way in order not to drive away longtime S&V listeners. Hopefully they'll start pushing the envelope little by little as people get used to them.

I tuned in and out and they were ok.
Nothing really made me LOL like The Bert Show can do most of the time.

Shannon reminds me of old Q100 Bert show member Lindsay Brien.

Listening to the American Top 40 year-end countdown over the weekend, I heard Our Boy Seacrest talking about rapper MIMS, then he threw it to a clip of MIMS himself talking about his single "This Is Why I'm Hot." Of course, instead of hearing that song, we were treated instead to Santana and Chad Kroeger’s “Into The Night,” totally unannounced, and at a jarringly higher volume level than AT40.

So if the Star 94 Hit Music Editing Board can’t allow American Top 40 to run in its unedited form, I doubt they’ll let The Morning Mess do anything more controversial than having soccer moms call in and beg for Jonas Brothers tickets.

I had really hoped Star would lean in a more CHR direction, but instead they’re forcing their new, younger, hipper morning show to immediately age a decade.

I noticed this morning the new positioning(?) "Atlanta #1 Hit Music Station", it's also front and center on Star94.com. I guess this replaces the "Better Variety of Today's Hit Music" positioning.

I will say I got a little tired of hearing Snow Patrol taking the place of songs that made the top 100 for 2007. I wanted to know what some of the missing numbers were. I don't mind the editing that much in a normal week, but it was frustrating me during the year-end countdown.

Yeah, good point Produceralp! What the heck's wrong with them? I mean, I know it's a holiday week and all but it's already 3 days into the gig and they haven't generated any buzz (except for a huge story on them in the AJC and a bunch of internet talk) or pleased the Radio-Info blockheads. What are they waiting for? How can Kanov have not fired them already? Why are they not #1 across the board at this point? What failures and losers! I repeat, it's been 3 WHOLE DAYS ALREADY!! Let's go, Morning Mess!
