Baymont Inn. Freeport, IL (US-20 bypass exit with IL Route 26). As of Labor Day weekend 2020.

HD lineup with all channels 7 thru 68 ending with "-1" but no subchannels. Appears to be using Comcast Business Class services, but cable lineup doesn't resemble that of the Rockford headend, which also serves Freeport.

No CW (via WREX 13.2), MyNet (via WTVO 17.2), or ION (via WIFR 23.4) nor the other Rockford area netlets. Also interesting that only two each of HBO's and ESPN's are offered, instead of 4 or more as it seems at most other hotels.

I am surprised that there is one (defective) Spanish channel in a New Britain, which is 43% Hispanic. No Univision, no Telemundo. Yet they have the Golf Channel.

It's a customized hospital lineup, and the New Britain hospital serves patients from lily-white Southington, Berlin, Plainville and other Central Connecticut communities as well as New Britain. Also, the most likely New Britain residents to be hospitalized are its aging Polish-Americans. The Hispanic demo is much younger -- and poorer. There's nothing in it for the hospital to provide Spanish-language programming alternatives.

I'm more surprised that the hospital lineup doesn't include any of the New York or Boston regional sports networks (YES, SNY, NESN). The lineup at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH, where my parents have been hospitalized at various times over the past five years, includes NESN (Red Sox, Bruins) and Comcast Sports New England (Celtics).

While I know nothing of that particular hospital, the fact is that the Hispanic population of that area of CT is based on the 50's and 60's migration of Puerto Ricans and supplemented by current migration patterns from the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

The original and second generation Puerto Rican migrants are certainly in the older age categories now. It would seem that nearly everywhere in the Hartford/New Britain/Middletown area that Hispanics would be a significant part of hospital services; as US citizens they have been eligible for eventual Medicare coverage since birth.

Of course, in all metro areas there are hospitals that, irrespective of proximity to a community, are preferred by certain ethnic or racial or cultural groups because they find "better" service to their needs. And, there might be a reason why your particular hospital under-indexes in usage by Hispanics.

I just got back from staying at this hotel again. Between my last stay in 2019 and my recent stay the hotel underwent a multi-million dollar remodel. It's now called "The Alloy Hotel" by Double Tree. A few of the channels have been moved around or removed. I didn't write the line-up down as there was no paper or pens in the room. No more in-room movies. What I remember is Univison is now on Channel 50. BET is on a different channel position. 61 maybe. QVC was removed,.

Channel 3... CBC/CBMT or ICI Radio-Canada Tele/CBFT? It has to be one of the Montreal stations.

Also, no WCFE but that's maybe because its more targeted towards the New York side than the Vermont side.

It's likely this lineup card was printed in 2012 or 2013, after NBCSN was launched but before FS1 came to be. It closely matches the Comcast channel lineup for the local area. The channels were all SD and analog - I thought Comcast eliminated analog TV many years ago?

Also, I stayed here in 2016 for a night and remember WBZ, WCVB, and WHDH all being watchable on channels 4, 5, and 7. Channel 13 at the time was also NBC, but it was WNNE instead of WPTZ. Residents in this area were really fortunate to get 3 major Boston stations this far away from the city. They even got THREE ABC stations back then! But since those channels are blank now, it appears the Boston stations been dropped here in favor of the "in-market" (Burlington) stations, although strangely WMUR remains on the lineup.

The channels listed as "not tunable" means that pressing channel up or down on an adjacent channel skipped it in the lineup.
 
I've stayed in that very same WRJ hotel. Along US 5 by the I-89/I-91 cross (I-91 Exit 10, while US 5 is Exit 11).

Surprised that Boston outside of WSBK-TV would be carried, since Windsor County, VT is in the Burlington/Plattsburgh DMA.

Channel 31 was indeed on the lineup. It was in it's last days of NBC, and was a simulcast of WPTZ-TV. Odd being so close to the NH border yet seeing a NY Lottery drawing! (WPTZ-TV airs their in-state drawings.)

I have family on both sides of the river (Windsor County VT/Grafton County NH) and their Xfinity cable lineups are identical and include the Boston network affiliates as well as the Burlington/Plattsburgh ones.
