Does this mean 66.4 will drop Escape? Seems unusual that two sub-channels would carry the same programming.
Maybe—if, in fact, WHDH and NBC do go their separate ways—this is the start of a major programming shuffle? It doesn't seem likely that WFXT would have wanted to add Escape if they had to share it for very long with WUTF. And WUTF would benefit from having something unique.Does this mean 66.4 will drop Escape? Seems unusual that two sub-channels would carry the same programming.

As long as the check clears, I doubt WFXT cares if it's duplicating what's on WUTF.

Unfortunately, ComCast only carries 62-1.Another shuffle - WMFP has replaced Cozi in 720p on 62-1 with SBN (SonLife / Jimmy Swaggart) in 720p.
Cozi remains on 62-2 in 480i.
62-1 would be a perfect place for NBC Boston....
True, but if there are local ad slots to sell they would probably push for an exclusive. This gets Escape on Comcast and probably other systems, since WFXT must have that in their retransmission consent agreements. On WUTF it wasn't on Comcast.

That makes sense - therefore WFXT doesn't care who else carries Escape, or if anyone even watches it. Escape is not gaining much being on WUTF's subchannel that isn't carried on cable, but probably has a contract to complete with WUTF.Escape pays to play.

I donʼt know about 60.3, but as of yesterday, 62.2 is currently gone, PERIOD: No Cozi or anything—it goes from 62.1 to 62.3 to 62.4!... leaving Cozi on 62-2....However, it gets stranger - saw this posted elsewhere and checked on the Cozi page on Twitter where this is displayed "Attention Bostonians….. @COZITV has moved to 60.3
WMFP is sinking slowly, for sure. They couldn't even find something to fill the subchannel, and just turned it off....
