Movin 94.5 in Myrtle Beach flips

Well Star still does the 90s Weekend every so often. Not something a CHR to do. And you can't label them a AC. Doesn't come close to how Y102.5 Charleston sounds.

Well, now we know the former Star is CHR.

The Tide isn't too far off. For a station that was supposed to fill a gap in the market, it sure sounds like they just went and did what Star was doing.

The Tide still goes older than before Star flipped formats. Also you have to take into effect Tides sister station Easy. Tide can't go to soft. If Star didn't go sounding more like Mix in its last couple years Star 92.1 might still be around. But they lost to The Tide

The Tide was doing some soft music before but now it would overlap with Easy. Which still has the name but can't really be called that anymore. If anything, The Tide can't play songs that are too old. There are a few 80s songs left that an AC might play that I haven't heard (so far) on Easy.

Guess which station played "Sunglasses at Night".
