All I keep thinking is, "this is all soooo stupid for so many reasons." There is no right in this country to not be offended. After that concept sunk into my thick skull, I stopped being offended by every little barb that 'shock jocks' and rap music throw my way.
This double-standard has to end. Either everyone should be allowed to be insensitive and intemperate or no one should. This is going to wind up biting the black community in the rear when the media starts putting the magnifying glass to the gangsta culture that is so popular... But that's another thread.
