> Reminds me of a story from way back. From 1970-1976 I was ops manager at WCCK-FM in Erie, PA. We took on a long time legendary AM, WJET. The all night show was automated with voice tracks done by a jock from another market. He was called "Big Al Night". Same tracks for the entire time I was in town. The owner of the station told me that Al Night never was sick, late, or asked for a raise. Never had to hotline him either.
