Hey what about SBS
Spanish Broadcasting system?? Why arent they here? I tought that guy El Cucuy was very good. So why isnt he here??

Cucuy is down to about 5th of all the Spanish stations in LA... after La Nueva, KLVE, KBUE an KRCD in the morning. It's over.
For real??? I didnt know that I thought he was good. Well to me personally I went to his web page to listen to his show but it seemed kinda boring.

Yikes!! Wonder when will SBS stop putting up with his low numbers? Truly, a Tragic story.

he was not on klat most recenly klat is owned by univision and he works for sbs he was on the air on KLVL for some short time a few months ago and just was not able to compete...

That's sad, I didn't even know he was on KLVL. But then again, how many do people listen to KLVL. Close to 0.0 in ratings maybe?

I was present in LA and their was some talk of EXA soon extending to major us cities they did mention that their already is a exa in california.. but houston will not be part of this exa project! my guess is that the mega djs will be let go in the next week or so and then the pd will make the change and bring in his own team! the imaging and slogan is ready to go they just need a few last touches to the music rotation but other then that the mega morph is almost ready!

I hope the report of the name "Pasión" is true, as another company has the national service mark to this name... should be fun.
So what format would fit good for Pasion???
You say the name will be "La Passion", yet you don't know the format? Uncreditable

CC will not be creating Pasion belive me look back at my post and you will see how months ago i was already talking about a major change comming to KLOL MEGA 101.1 and even ppl like David Eduardo said i was wrong since KLOL was doing so well on PPM but here were are and all along i was 100% correct... so trust me when i say it will not be pasion and the slogan will be JOVEN COMO TU so draw your own conclusions! If anyone can guess the name i will admit to it!

Months ago? Then you were probably guessing and then miraculously got it right.

A format change does not take "months" to develop. Jeez! Unless it's an original format, but with clear channel, originality is not their thing! Look at Preciosa, it,in some ways, resembles Recuerdo.

it took months cause they could not decide who they wanted to program the station since its a format they want to spread in other major markets they need a leader to creat a good station but yes im sure David E will explane how preciosa is a fake cheap clone of Recuerdo blah blah blah

Preciosa is a clone of Recuerdo, just like La Consentida, where Lucas worked before selling the Preciosa idea to Kim at CC in the major market of Salinas.

Funny thing i head in LA last weekend when i was hanging out with some freinds of mine from SBS some one made a claim that El Genio Lucas may soon be going to the Mornings at Recuerdo! Crazy idea huh but then aggain El Genio has proven to have better numbers then paco paccoro and the [EDIT] with him on the air!

[EDIT-inflammatory content]

But my question is, is this MVS company coming to houston???

Just as an example, the 4-month-old Jaime Alejandro "Buenos Dias" show beat Genio 2 to 1 in ever demo in Dallas in July. It's the #1 Hispanic morning show in Houston 12+ and 25-54 for the last August report issued last week.

Well to me personally Piolin is funnier.

The Recuerdo show is not supposed to be "funny." It is supposed to be relevant.

Ok so Recuerdos is not funny. But is MVS coming to houston?

It's funnier than a lobotomy, which I recommend in this case.

So that means that nobody is sure if MVS Is coming to houston!!! Right???

Besides, what does MVS stand for? Musica Voladora? Just kidding, but for real what does it stand for?

I've always known it as just MVS, but I believe it is a contraction of Multivision. After Azteca and Televisa, it is the third largest media company in Mexico... including about 90 FM stations in the major mrkets.
