I've never worked in P'cola but may I suggest you folks all get together for a lunch some weekend? I did that with a group of people I had worked with in Indiana and it was great. We shared stories about the past and got caught up as to what we're doing today. It was a two hour lunch and none of us wanted to leave.

Sadly, about 8 months later, one of the former staffers died from a brain injury in a car wreck. We are all thankful we took the time to see each other, one more time.

I think only 3 or 4 of us actually live in Florida now, most of these posters have moved on to greener pastures.

Radio is boring, okay, we get it, but has everyone turned to sand?
(Wasn't there a B movie about that like 40 years ago)

Otherwise, I am starting the Great 108 talk back up from scratch...all 65,000 posts.

I think that was a Star Trek episode.
As for the quietness, it's just so cold down here that we're all stove up from the arthritis and other ailments. It's just too hard to type without loading up on vicodin and soma.
We'll get back to you in the Spring.
