KGOW beat them all to the punch! They were playing Christmas songs on the afternoon show this past week.

Cool, then I will play a Christmas song at 5:20AM Friday morning January 1st 2010. That way we can put the foolish "who's gonna be the 1st to play Christmas music" thread.
By the way Mr Beasley, was 1560 The Game playing complete Christmas songs or was it bumper music?

I heard at least one play all the way through. But, they talked over it the whole time. Chestnuts Roasting By the Open fire by Nat King Cole. Then they used others for bumper music. You sort of wonder if they got the idea from seeing this thread on this site.

Yeah, perhaps they did. By the way that song by Nat King Cole is "The Christmas Song." It is one of my favorites. Every Christmas season I would play that song on KILT and in the 1970s on KNUZ, both were country stations. I also played it on 95.7 The Wave.
