I came home later last night and decided to check out some news on TV. While searching for CNN, I came across this really cheesy show on WBGT-TV (18). It was a really really really bad infomercial for local businesses called "Eye on Rochester."
I can't stress this enough, it was really bad! First off, the show is show on what looks to be an un-white balanced home video camera. The supers and editing are very old-fashioned. The "hosts" are 18 year old girls straight out of high school, who are supposed to be sexy, but instead just come off as well...18 year old girls trying to be sexy. And of course, Rick, the guy from "Life Without Shame" is on the show as well. He goes overboard trying to be funny, but it's his terrible overacting that is priceless. Basically the plot is that these "hot chicks" visit all of the "finest businesses" in Rochester (Apparently, pawn shop and car washes are some of the finest business, but I digress). Anyway, it's a blantant one-hour infomercial.
But even more funny, was the overall horrendous acting on the show. Each of the aforementioned cast is pretty bad in front of the camera, and clearly it shows. There are many awkward moments and really really terrible skits that are so bad, they make you laugh out loud.
So in conclusion, I would reccomend that people set their DVR's to tape "Eye on Rochester." It is produced poorly, the acting is bad, and it is sometimes hard to watch, but if you like "B-Movies" (or in this case Z-Movies), you must check this out! While it very well may be "the worst show ever on television," you will never have more fun laughing at what a bad show it is!
