MyNetworkTV's 2016-17 Television Schedule Revealed

Worth noting that nearly every market in the top 15 or so has at least one traditional independent,

Not Philadelphia, which is still a Top 10 market.

2: MeTV
3: CBS
4: Infomercials
6: ABC
10: NBC
12: PBS
17: MNTV
29: Fox
35: PBS
44: Infomercials
48: Religion
57: CW
61: Pax or whatever they call themselves today
62: Telemundo
65: Univision

Not a traditional indy in the lot.

what about WFMZ 69?

Not really part of the market, since its studios and transmitter are on the other side of the a mountain in Allentown. It doesn't really reach most of the market, is not included on most cable systems south of the City. Calling WFMZ a Philadelphia station would be like calling WGAL part of the market.

The Saturday live concert is an intriguing idea. Certainly there have to be plenty of people in the music industry willing to latch onto this as a promotional vehicle.

Exception being that WFMZ actually is in the Philadelphia DMA while WGAL is not. And it has a repeater signal in Philadelphia proper.
