They are micromanaging the on track product to death.
Forgive my ingnorance, but aren't we kinda micromanaging the move with this thread? Krock is going talk and needs weekend programming for their regular weekday programming, so why not NASCAR.
I mean, we're talking about a Sunday afternoon (sometimes Saturday night) program which is basically just filler for the weekend. I find it hard to believe that any advertiser is breaking down the doors to buy time for that timeshot (with the exception of the Steelers here in Pittsburgh), so any extra money that CBS brings in with NASCAR is just gravy.
