NASH announces morning show

The radio trades are reporting that Blair Garner is stepping down from his syndicated show with Premiere, After Midnight, at the end of the month.
Perhaps this is an indication that his new morning show on WNSH will be syndicated on other Nash stations, as there will no longer be a problem airing the program in markets that also have competing country stations clearing After Midnight.

After 20 years, calling it a night: http://insideradio.com/Article.asp?id=2674531&spid=32061#.Ud9VrhF8NgU

AllAccess has an interesting interview with Nash FM morning host Blair Garner. He discusses how the morning show came together, and why he set it up the way he did with several country singers as cohosts.
Garner asserts that he is focused on making the show work in New York, rather than syndicating it. But he does not flat out deny that syndication is possible. He also says that advertising revenue at Nash FM has been strong. Another interesting statement is that nearly instantaneous PPM feedback about listener response to their show makes it possible to make careful tweaks as they go along.
While syndication seems possible, I do not agree with the above posts that the show would eventually air on all Cumulus country stations. No doubt they currently have successful established local shows that have been running for years in major markets. And in some markets such as Dallas and Nashville, Cumulus owns two country stations.
