So far - Nash sounds totally automated. In NYC no less! Shame.

Probably wouldn't flip WTCB - 100k AC still generates solid revenue despite the numbers
Probably wouldn't flip WNKT - unless they lose the rights to Gamecock sports (not likely)
WOMG ? They seem to be getting better numbers since the music change
WLXC ? Maybe. They've always seemed lost in the urban shuffle. Joyner just doesn't draw like Steve Harvey does.
But, in the end, would it matter?
WCOS has beaten every one else who's tried.
DudeFan said:Gordon, WCOS hasn't "beaten" anyone else who has tried. They've OUTLASTED them. The last well-programmed competitor they had, Capstar bought (WHKZ/Kicks 96). Everyone else has been part of a gang that can't shoot straight, particularly the cursed 92.1 frequency.
A lot of people bag on Cumulus, but when they put their mind to it, they create very well-researched and programmed but perhaps unexciting stations. Clear Channel does the same. But let's give them some credit for keep live bodies in most dayparts for most of their stations. Compare and contrast WNOK, which is a repeater from Charlotte. Even their local afternoon guy is not live. He's voicetracked. They are forbidden to go live on the air.

DudeFan said:Only a beating if they had a chance to succeed in the first place. 94.3 BTW is the winner in the Park Street cluster., which ain't saying much.
DudeFan said:Kicks and WCOS were sister stations when the format change to Lite 96 was made.
