Nashville's Glory Days

Tell the lovely Laurel and Lt. Dan I send my love next time you see them. I've shared many a wine tasting with
Laurel, but no Arbor Mist. That needs to change. I need to get you an AM care package together for that there
fight on the big hill (109)...disco duck 24/7 will fix them. Meanwhile, when did JUST two bottle of AM solve anything?
When they come out with Box Wine Arbor Mist...the world's problems will be solved. I hope it has a tropical
beach scene on the box.

BTW, the post on Buddy was classic. He's knows who he's the real Rock Star.
 
Speaking of Lt. Dan on Lightning 100, he truly is one of the most passionate, real, entertaining personalities on the radio in Nashville today. I listen to him every afternoon on Lightning 100, and aside from him being a personal friend of mine, he SOUNDS like EVERYONE'S friend on the air. He's also local, sooo in touch with the local music scene, isn't self-righteous and truly entertains each afternoon on Lightning 100. Wanna hear how to be local, relate to the listener, the music, and feel good about listening to LOCAL radio again? Take a note from Dan Buckley, as well as Mary Brace (mornings) on Lightning 100... they do it.

We'll let's just have a wine tasting Lighting 100/Magic 1560 party! Bill Buntin will trade out for the Arbor Mist. Pat Julian will have plenty of beer on hand, and we'll all meet at Bonnaroo! Wayne Akins (my Sunday Afternoon Guy) will bring in the Cobra!

Lighting 100 is the BEST FM station in Nashville. The whole gang has made stars over there, and they give folks a chance where others simply can't or just won't. Laurel Creech, Lt. Dan Buckley, and of course Bill Buntin & Buddy Sadler are the best voices in Nashville, in my opinion. Mary Brace puts the ole boys up the road from us to shame!

I gonna give the boys up the road from us on Highway 109 some more rumors to spread about me and Bill Buntin. One of them has accused us (me and Buntin) of being druggies! That's a joke! Yes, I have to take High Blood Pressure Medicine and medication for my heart, and Bill is diabetic, but we are not druggies! My father passed away last year of being diabetic and congestive heart failure. That gives me more reasons to take care of myself. Yea, I like a little taste, but I'm not an Otis Campbell like we saw on the Andy Griffith show!

Bill told me there was a fight one night between Sparkman and Buntin at a Gallatin Game. I wasn't there that night, but I can tell you one night I was in the middle of some shoving going into a press box door between Bill & Sparkman at a Gallatin game we were doing at the MTSU football stadium. I got squeezed between the two. I felt like a ham sandwich!

Bill Buntin has declared a sports war!
