NBC 2012-13 lineup revealed

I actually like Community. Putting it up against TBBT on CBS was stupid, as I think they both attract the same type of audience. I hate it's on Friday night, but that's what the DVR is for.
Also, it's a show that can't be watched live. I can't process information that fast.

Expect that Matthew Perry show to be the first one to go. It sounds more like a movie of the
week than a series. Now, how many of his shows didn't last..................too many!

Chicago Fire sounds like a remake of the NBC 70s show Emergency and they are using the same station #51.

Generally lame. Can't see how "Revolution" can be made into a series although it might make a good TV movie.

Regarding "Revolution", I can easily see this working as a series. The concept reminds me somewhat of S.M. Stirling's "Dies the Fire" series of novels, which he's managed to keep going for something like ten very lengthy novels so far. John Barnes has also played around with a somewhat similar concept in his "Daybreak" trilogy, but with a very different result. So I'll actually be interested to see what J.J. Abrams manages to do with this concept.

Remind me to turn on the closed captions next time I come across that show. :D
