I didn't care too much for the olymics this year. I also thought that the Winter Olympics were better when CBS had them. I always remembered NBC having the Summer Olympics (which I rarely watched anyway). At least with WMAQ in Chicago, it didn't help that there wasn't enough bandwidth to handle running the main channel in 1080i, local weather radar, & Universal Sports. They did adjust it by taking bandwidth from the radar to compensate for some of the fast action. But for someone who watches TV with a DTV box & analog TV, that it still looked like crap. I don't know if WNDU in South Bend Indiana had any problems with the olympics coverage. They solved bandwidth issues by shutting off their SD simulcast during the olympics. I wonder about other markets.
