NBC launching competitor to Antenna, RTV, Me-TV

I don't know why all these networks are so heavy into the old black and white shows. They're going to put each other out of business. Aside from a few exceptions they have very little 80's programming.

Here is an article on the launch of Cozi TV which is to start this week. The initial number of stations to air the digi-net is 24.

KVEA in Corona, CA, an NBC O&O which has Telemundo on its main channel, will air Cozi TV as a .2.

I think you mistaken KVOA in Tucson, AZ for KVEA in Corona, CA, as neither that news article nor Cozi TV's website list KVEA.

According to the Cozi TV website the broadcast channel for Cozi TV in the Los Angeles area is 39.2. That is KVEA, Corona, owned by NBC Telemundo--NOT KVOA in Tucson.

While RF39 is NBC owned KVEA, Cozi TV is on RF36.2 which is KNBC's subchannel that maps to 4.2. The website is wrong unless they intend to move Cozi to KVEA's stick and have it still map as 4.2 to give some bits and bytes back to KNBC's main channel. I doubt it though.

For crying out loud, look on their website. Type in an L.A./Long Beach zip code and it says 39.2. If you have an issue with it, contact NBC.

It says 4.2 now.

Strange, the website malfunctioned.

Enter the ZIP code and press enter and I got 4.2, but clicking the Submit button gave me 39.2.

I doubt they'd put it on the Telemundo channel, as they should already be carrying Exitos TV and Canal SOI on 52.2 and 52.3 already. Ch 39 is the RF channel for KVEA; subchannels should be 52.x.

Strange! It says "30-2 Broadcast" and cable "Comcast Plainville - 248" for those with digital cable when I pressed SUBMIT. Hitting enter gave me 4-2 and Comcast's system in Branford, CT. Odd!

Mystery solved. The "39.2" refers to KNSD San Diego. If you enter ZIP code 91301 for Agoura Hills, it gives you channel 4.2 for KNBC.

NBC screws up everything else - why not their website?

It is just like how the "PG" moniker is stuck on every show. "Ozzie and Harriet" has a "PG" rating, as does "Beverly Hillbillies," "The Lone Ranger," and the rest of the "racy" (j/k) shows on there...
