NBC Sports 1510...?

>>onther sports station in boston too many looks like weei should just brodcast on 93.7 since its fm

WEEI will stay on 93.7 and eventually make 850 all ESPN, it's said.

Why are there "too many"? Because there's a demand, even if 1510 prob won't
do as well. As long as there's money to be had...Things don't always work out.
1200 tried cons. talk and it didn't work out. We'll see how long 1510 lasts but
NBC really wants an affiliate in town.

Rolling on launch. Top of hour, NBC news cast. Then
Intro for NBC Sports update.
DEAD AIR
Intro for NBC Sports update.
DEAD AIR.

Then an ad for Safelite etc.
DEAD AIR
Weather forecast etc

The other night (Sunday into Monday morning) at Midnight there was Religious Programming
I can't wait to hear NBC Sports Radio, also even CBS Sports Radio

Yahoo sports is still on some slots. Basically in the 24 hour day--and I won't count

Embarrassing. How a reputable brand like NBC agreed to plant itself on an amateur-hour operation like this boggles the mind. Did I hear one of the "Diehards" actually bragging that he'd done no preparation for the show? Did I hear another one saying over and over and over how happy he was to be on the radio? Did I hear all three asking for people to call in even if they had nothing to say just so they could win a T-shirt? I was just up in the Capital District (Albany) a week ago and heard a sports talk show on Siena College's station, WVCR, which was twice as professional sounding as this disaster, and yes, those were college students doing the show.

That said, I will be looking forward to Rodney Harrison's show in the birdfeed portion of the broadcast day if I happen to be up that way on a weekend.

Is there a website for this station? Any way to listen online? If not, why? Who is in charge of the facebook page? I have never seen/heard such a quiet 'rollout' for a new product...

There is a facebook page and a couple people signed up for it. So far I am the only one to post--no wait, someone asked how to listen online.

The webpage is still a bare template with no way to listen

Meanwhile Jeff Santos' page is still up at http://www.revolutionboston.com and the shows link mentions programs that haven't aired for weeks or months.

Totally agree...diehards was unlistenable then and was today and will be tomorrow.

Maybe this was already mentioned...but who actually owns 1510 as of this moment?

You can listen on the tunein app but you have to freshly search , and its the national feed not wwzn

Santos leaving up 1510RevBos FB page up as "archival" and urges fans to go to SantosShow FB page.Mentions changes etc. The RevolutionBoston.com site still lists (on schedule) shows that haven't aired in months. Santos still on till Nov on 1510 and I'd think he'd like them to consider going beyond that.

>>The AM 1510 Revolution Boston facebook page will become an archival page now that the format has changed from Progressive Talk to Sports. We thank our "fans" for contributing to the page over the years and hope that you will like the Jeff Santos Show on facebook in order to continue to receive news and program updates.
(facebook.com for 1510 Revolution Radio...hey, that nickname would come in handy if they
ever got the rights to run "matches" of Bob Kraft's "football" (aka soccer) team...)

I like how the host of the 'Bawstin Diehards' 'pimps' the station's facebook and twitter pages....there is NO activity on the facebook page except for questions from confused listeners and the twitter 'handle' he promotes-- @1510NBCSports -- does not even exist! Weak.

To paraphrase what someone said on Twitter, podcasts, streaming, website? Evidently someone must be confusing 1510 with a real radio station. (Just that staticky AM signal...) I guess there's a facebook group but prob not much action.

"I _guess_ you're on the Zone..."--John Dennis in his voice message to Ryen Russillo--who will now be heard on 850 middays with Lucy, I mean, Scott Van Pelt. btw scene in new Eastwood movie
has ol' Clint attacking a young dude who goes after his daughter, in a bar, and i couldn't help
but think of that famous message Dennis left for Russillo (hit on his daughter in a bar)
