It.....isn't.....AAA.

It's classic rock. Period.

If you want to say The Sound is failing, then say "there isn't room for another classic rock station in LA," or come up with some other reason.
 
KROQ has been a popular station for over 25 years. If one was 18 in 1983, they would now be 43 and likely not enjoying a lot of music KROQ now plays.

What station today would appeal to someone who grew up on KROQ?

Im no spring chicken and I love the music KROQ plays. That whole Acoustic Christmas line up is great.
