Hey! Never really had too much luck with skip or long-distance signal on the FM dial, but today was crazy in my car radio!
I work in radio here in Paintsville, Kentucky (eastern end of the state), so it's in that general area where I've heard these stations:
-WEBN (Cincinatti) -- not too far, don't guess it's skip. But that is never there. I always get Charleston, WVA's WVSR-FM with a poor signal at this location.
-KKYY (in Iowa?!?!) It said on my RDS "y1013"
-I need help with the last one...It was on 98.9 (which is one of our local stations) and it was coming in over it, very strong! The station on 98.9 said "Classic Rock and More." I didn't catch any call-letters, but I heard a forecast giving an overnight low around 51 degrees...
Can anyone imagine what that station on 98.9 was?
