NEW BREAKAWAY BOX

WNTIRadio said:
I've been lucky to have the 11 in the shop for awhile now, soon it will go to it's new home at the transmitter site. Hopefully the update will be released soon for the other functions, namely HD (going to use it to feed a web stream).

I've been a user of the Breakaway software and know what it can do. I'll second the "Wow. I want one now" statement!!

Group,

Corny and I are testing version 1.0 software now. We'll be updating units very soon...trying to have something next week. We showed a few features, like SSB stereo gen (with less than 1% overshoot and clean baseband spectrum) at the processing freakday last Sunday. Remote is also finally up and running. Just finishing up the presets for HD Radio processing and a few other utility items, and off it goes.

Thanks to all of you for your patience!!

PS: A huge Thank You to the Dutch Processing Freakday gang. These guys LOVE audio processing. I was blown away by how passionate this group - about 400 or so - are about broadcast audio processing. A great group of people, and it was such a pleasure to be a part of this fun experience!!

You joining forces with Leif is kind of like when Han Solo decided to fly for Mr. Skywalker. The writing was on the wall at that point.

This is a very interesting time in audio processing, and it will be interesting to see what the other guys come up with too with some pretty stiff competition from the two new Omnia offerings.

@Jesse...any timetable for the BBP software update?

B9 is indeed David Reaves' new project.
He did show a pre- beta version of his new, 6 bands, leveler / limiter.... (maybe the successor of the world famous Ariane sequal leveler).
The project was in the programming stadium.

In the next couple of years David Reaves wil develope his new product.... :)
