If they were interested in these translators I sure hope they wouldn’t check the current signal. Cause if they did they would be disappointed when they run them legally.Speaking of translators, what would another owner do if they purchased 104.5 and 105.3? Would any of the big companies like IHeart, AUDACY ect be interested in owning these translators.
The proposed signal will be directional to the south, which means it will cover a lot of nothing expect for the town of High Island. Perhaps they are hoping for rimshot coverage of Galveston. Any suppressed signal heading to Houston will get hit by the KPFT IBOC sideband."Cattle Radio 89.9"
If the station is run like his translators, the station will DEFINITELY make it into Galveston. The proposed signal will be directional to the south, which means it will cover a lot of nothing expect for the town of High Island. Perhaps they are hoping for rimshot coverage of Galveston.
For which there is virtually no demand. This will likely complete the new trifecta of Spanish language religious stations serving Chambers County, along with the new 90.7 in Anahuac and the revived 101.5 at Crystal Beach.
Church. Lots of churches use untaxed dollars to buy these stations for their cause.Where do they get all this money? Or are new FCC applications so cheap it's nothing?
40 watts at 46 meters, operating from Crystal Beach, with the majority of their signal directed into the Gulf of Mexico? I wonder if they are leasing space on the Univision tower? I wonder what the objective is, because i's certainly not intended to generate revenue.
Houston, no. Galveston, maybe.Probably will try to hop it into Houston..give it some time 😂
