New Fios channels and changes in comcast

Not much, Time Warner runs 85% of cable services in the state, while MetroCast Cablevision runs the system in Sanford. Comcast purchased the Bath/Brunswick/Freeport/Topsham area in 2006, but it's now up for sale - anyone think it won't go to Time Warner?
 
Incidentally, Comcast moved some channels to the digital tier here on Thursday. MSNBC moved to 114, TruTV moved to... some number I can't remember, and CN8, the TV Guide Channel and ESPN are all now DUPLICATED in the 183-188 range.

The Hallmark Channel has always been on 138 for us, but was switched to the other digital package, which we don't get, so we no longer get Hallmark. Or MSNBC, for that matter.
 
Comcast here in Middletown moved a good number of those networks to digital back about 6 months ago, this time around the only move was NECN from 12 to some digital number.

"At Comcast, we've got you covered for the digital transition" - as long as you upgrade to a digital box.

At this point, Verizon's lineup for Greater Boston doesn't give you anything out of Providence - though I don't think they're in towns like Attleboro and Plainville where those channels would be expected. The current lineup does give you a lot out of New Hampshire, though - in addition to the expected WZMY-50 and WNEU-60, you also get WMUR-9.

And I thought Cox did the moving of channels to digital like they have. Their last move was TCM. I wouldn't mind if Cox moved their Cox Sports to digital like Comcast did with CN8. Also with Comcast moving channels away from regular cable to digital is Comcast placing something on the old cable channel? And I like moving a channel like The Weather Channel to 98 thats a joke. A channel like that needs to be in the 20s.
