From what little I heard yesterday (which goes to show you how uninterested I am in listening to this trainwreck) I thought the on air presentation was straight out of "amateur hour"! If this station cracks a 1.0 share I would be shocked! At least the previous modern rock format garnered almost a 2.0 share.

Even if it is "stunting", why in the world put that on the air in the #3 market in the country? I'd run Blue Grass music, and call it Banjo 101 with chickens and cows in the background before I'd let what was on that clip hit the air.
Deep pockets don't equal programming genius.

It indicates that WWWN launched as an all news station today, 7/31/11. There is a large list of key staff members. They are marketing it as "Chicago's only 24 hour all news station."
Can anyone from the Chicago area discuss the current programming?
The many posts dwelling on a clip of a segment that occurred two days ago shed little light on what the station actually sounds like now.
