New head of sales for the CBS cluster

But what percentage of the CBS profit is from their AM stations? I wouldn't be surprised if it was less than $10-15 million for both KNX and KFWB. KLAC without Lakers basketball is nothing, CC might as well broker it if they still want to maintain KLAC money...

KNX likely had a 2008 BCF of around $15 million... KFWB likely had none. Now, with KFWB adding infomercial revenue, and KNX increasing its audience share, they might be acutally doing better or, at least, have that prospect.

Most of the Clear money on AM is KFI... KLAC should still do OK in sports, as there is so much male / sports specific revenue.

Does CC cluster sales of KLAC along with KYSR? I was listening to KLAC during a Lakers game last year and they had ads advertising 98-7...

A couple of thoughts for RBB05. I know Dawn and always found her to be a terrific manager and colleague. A solid hire by CBS. Although she's up against the best in the business in Jeff Thomas at CCLA. She doesn't suffer fools and has a hard nosed attitude toward getting the work done. She'll help CBS sell Amp more successfully against her old station (KIIS) and she'll help the guys at KROQ get back on track (or else).

But I have a couple of questions. Knowing Dawn's experience in the market why did Ed Krampf make all of his station sales management decisions BEFORE hiring Dawn? Shouldn't he have waited until Dawn was on board so she could assess the situation, determine staff needs, then work with Ed to make the necessary moves? Would she have hired Bob Scott? Would she have promoted a first time manager at Jack? Just asking...
