You were so fond of kricket that it took you more than two months to realize that she was not around anymore. Nice. Please pay attention. As for the kids in the new school, they can learn all they want about radio, but the new school does not teach you how to "relate" genuinely with listeners. No "announcer" will ever take Uncle Vito's job.

Everyone on this board complains about liner readers, that there are no "personalities" left on the air. Vito is certainly not a liner jock, and a lot of times jocks that have a great "radio voice" can't pull off an interesting show. Vito does that day in and day out, corny jokes and all. He helps keep Albany radio from being dull. He has a history here that the listeners can relate to. Enjoy that Bonus money, Vito!

Had you put even 30 seconds worth of effort into your show you could have avoided that embarassing gaff! Afternoons on PYX are an absolute joke, and not a very funny one.
