New Morning Show on Project 961

It is hard to believe that CC hired a morning show that actually made the first weeks of the New Morning X look like pure radio brilliance. Wow, I had to change the station in a hurry this morning after the Brittany's kids discussion. These guys are NOT funny, and NOT entertaining in any way shape or form, and if that is what skate board slacker, gamer thinks is funny and entertaining between Korn songs, we are all in a lot of trouble.

They had another football mistake this morning that caught my ear. They said that the same Cal QB that ran out of time against Oregon State was the same one who threw a pick that ended the game this week and that's not true. It was Longshore's backup that lost the Oregon State game and Nate Longshore himself who threw the pick. It's not a huge mistake, but if you're going to discuss sports on the radio you should do better than that.

Yeah really, what are they thinking? We're looking for mistake free radio, boys.

I think you misunderstand my point. People who want to hear sports talk will flip to 680, 790 or some sports talk show. I just thought it was funny that they try to talk sports talk and make mistakes like this. The only reason I posted it was because it tied into their USF mistake that was mentioned earlier in the thread. Of course people are going to make mistakes when reporting things. I don't have a problem with that, but I tend to like it when my hosts that talk sports on the radio are more prepared than me.

Lopez is just defending his peeps... he works for the show. I agree though. Don't try to talk politics when Boortz, Rush, and Hannity do it better than you. Don't talk sports when you're up against TWO sports stations. Unless you have something REALLY amusing to bring up. Don't just talk sports cause that's what guys do.
Stick to throwing cold cuts on strippers as*es.

I've tried listening to the show but (almost)every time i tune in they're playing music. Or some lame chatter for a couple of minutes then more music

I heard it for the first time today and the sidekick thinks Waffle House sells pancakes. And he wasn't funny.

Wow let me get this right. They talked about Kid Rock at the Waffle House, and he talked about throwing some pancakes down a chicks throat. REALLY! he didn't say waffles! Get that man a menu, what was he thinking. Mr. Nit, please meet Mr. pick. javascript:void(0);

Pancakes do sound really effin' good right now. Thanks for the feedback, buddies!

Effin'? What are you, twelve? Flippin' would have been more appropriate -- pancakes and all. ;D

The funny thing about that is I don't even dislike the show. I listen to it and the River every morning. I just don't think it's a good idea to try to talk sports when you're not suited for it.

Yeah I hear what youre saying about why they should never talk sports. Today that big goofy Giant called the Detroit Pistons the Minnesota Pistons. Yesterday they berated a 70 year old woman and today these clowns of sound try to impress of with wit?

GO BACK NORTH YANKEE :-*

Can someone explain to me how half truths and gossip stay on here, but My sarcastic masterpiece gets taken down? What I can't talk about the Civil War or the Dukes of Hazzard? Who's the big cry baby?
