Yes and amen! Everyone down there is in our thoughts and prayers.

My station (WiLD 96.3/WNHT) along with the rest of the Summit City Radio Group cluster is teaming up with a local club for a benefit on Friday night. We're going to be selling mardi gras masks, beads and we're also going to feature games... all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross for disaster relief for the victims. Also, the club has agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar. I'm taking this very personally, as I'm from Meridian/Philadelphia, Mississippi so I'm very glad that we're doing what we can to help out.

Stay strong everyone. Your best days are yet to come and this too shall pass!

Our Local Red Cross chapter offices have been absolutely swamped with calls from people who want to know how to help! Money and supplies and even army reservists are on their way.

We are all praying that New Orleans, Biloxi, Gulfport, Mobile and the entire Gulf Region gets to a state of recovery as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can to support you! You were there for us after September 11th, and now we are here for you.

Same here. I've been DX'ing WWL from my home in Avon (20 minutes west of Cleveland) a lot at night over the past few days. "The Big 870's" coming in loud and clear.

At least you can get gas to go from your house to your job in your car which you still have. Instead of thinking of yourself, why not keep the 1000's who dont have any of those things in your thoughts instead.
