New PD @ Power 107 WCKX

I am noticing how much Power is sounding better now a days. I noticed that the DJ's are staying on their full shift instead of signing off 20 minutes or so before the top of the hour. Music is great. I haven't heard Konta on there this week so far. I assume he is on vacation or taking a couple days off. Misty is taking control. I think they should add some house music in with their format and add live mix shows.

They have been sounding better and the music isn't as dry. Wonder where Konata is? Probably vacation. I do think they should go back rhythmic and bring in some mixshows.
 
I just wanted to say that my brother that gave up on Power 107-5 long time ago just hit me up asking me when did they start doing Throwback Mixes. He said he was getting in his car going to lunch and forgot his IPod so he turned the radio on ESPN's Colin Cowheard was on 97.1 talking about something uninteresting to him so he turned to Power and was pleasantly surprised to hear a mix going on. I told him that they had a new PD and there've been a lot of good changes at the station. I wasn't aware they did a daily Throwback Mix show so I turned over to Power (cuz I do usually listen to Colin daily myself LOL) and it sounds go to me. I actually heard they do a live mix from the clubs now on Sat night (not sure about Fri yet) but we're usually doing shows out of town on the weekends so I'll be eager to check it out this Sat. Long story short my bro is impressed and will prob start listening and passing along the word that Power is better now. Good job and props out to Big Bink and the rest of the staff at Power 107.5! Keep up the good work! :)
 
DJ Bern handles the throwback mix at noon, and Big Bink mixes live from Long St. on Saturday nites. The imaging and music is better. Not 100% but definitely damn good!
